Southeast Europe

Afterglow of Times Past

A wooden horse cart slowly rumbles down a pastoral lane lined with apple trees... tied to ancient Roman remains, cheerful garlands of laundry sway in a warm breeze... shrouded in mist and legends, magnificent castles dot cragged slopes... splendorous courtyards echo the guards' heels... spray fogs the air when a breaker hits the rocks in front of your motorhome…

Make your own kaleidoscope with memories of enigmatic Southeast Europe! Catch the mighty echo of living history by embarking on our motorhome adventure. And being bitten by a vampire is not as bad as people say.

History and natural beauty unleashed
It's all in the mix: get excited about the resplendence of times past and present at important stages of the European history. Travel back in time to quaint settlements where centuries-old traditions are still valued and celebrated. Expect one-of-a-kind cultural monuments like phantasmagorical castles, fresco-covered monasteries and iconic palaces you won't find elsewhere. And experience how life might have felt within the walls of a fortress church.

We pave the way through some of the most charismatic landscapes in Europe, on roads that often make you feel like you're driving in an optical illusion. From the Alps to the Carpathians, from the sparkling waves of the Mediterranean to the largest lake in Central Europe, from the Puszta grassland to Transylvania, the land beyond the forest.

Every country we visit has its own enticing charm and every border crossing gives you the feeling of starting your holidays afresh: local dishes and drinks vary, currencies change and tongues sound different. But one thing all of the countries have in common: the amazing hospitality.

It's not only about the destinations
Drifting through Southeast Europe at a slow pace is a big part of the overall pleasure; by avoiding motorways you become part of the local life. We stop for a break where we want to; the “in-between" is as important as the big attractions. And in the evening we share all the wonderful places with kindred spirits and locals.
